Summer is the perfect time for children to explore new activities, and what better way to keep them busy than with a free balance bike hire! This summer, Rossendale Bike Hub is offering a fantastic opportunity for young kids to learn the basics of cycling in a fun and safe environment. From Monday, 22nd July to Friday, 2nd August, bring your little ones to experience the thrill of riding a balance bike at no cost.

What to Expect
The event is designed for children aged 2 to 5 years old who can walk and run confidently. Collect your bike and helmet from the Rossendale Bike Hub, and head over to Whitaker Park, just across the road. The multi-use games area in the park is the perfect spot for beginners to build up their confidence.
Activities and Support
Throughout the event, there will be advertised times for obstacle courses, providing an exciting challenge for the young riders. Additionally, local cycling enthusiasts will be on hand to offer friendly support and guidance, ensuring a positive and encouraging experience for every child.
Additional Perks
- Return Your Bike by 1 PM: Make sure to return the balance bike by 1 PM, but don’t rush off! Stay for a chat afterwards to mingle with other parents and find out what’s happening locally in the biking community.
- Free Basic Bike Check: Take advantage of a free basic bike check while your child enjoys the balance bike.
- Local Cycling Information: Learn about local cycling events and get advice from experts on all things biking.
