Paul Gallager, Sports and Coaching Manager
I have worked for RLT since 2009, initially starting off as a community sports coach and then progressing over the years into my current role of Sports & Coaching Manager.
My main responsibilities within my role is managing the schools coaching team, delivering sport specific and scheme of work sessions with local primary schools and working with the School Games Organiser for Rossendale, Nathan Bibby, to organise competitions and festivals for Rossendale Primary Schools. This includes overseeing and delivering over 120 competition dates each school year, with events being delivered for children in EYFS to Year 6.
Our schools coaches are dedicated to providing a fun, energetic and supportive environment to coach and develop school children, inspiring them to be active from a young age. We deliver sessions in a range of different sports, and are also able to cover sessions related to the Lancashire Scheme Of Work and PE Passport App covering all areas of the curriculum.
