Book Fitness Classes In Rossendale Today!

With the variety of Rossendale Leisure Trust facilities, there is a wide range of fitness classes in Rossendale. If you have a membership with us you can plan ahead and book onto your classes 8 days in advance.

Please note classes at Pioneer and Whitworth can not currently be booked online, please call the centres to book onto a class.

Our Fitness Classes In Rossendale

Our fitness classes take place across three of our sites; Adrenaline Centre in Haslingden, Pioneer in Bacup and Marl Pits in Rawtenstall. We also have a series of online classes available, so you can exercise from home! Get the most out of our fitness classes with a Rossendale Leisure Trust membership. The majority of our classes are available for non-members. Find out more about each class below:

Memberships

40:20 Yoga

40-minute resistance & HIIT work using 40 seconds of work and 20 seconds of rest periods. Followed by 20 minutes of yoga to finish the session in a calm and relaxed matter. Hand weights or kettlebells are needed for this workout. Don’t have these? Improvise with water bottles or other household items!

HIIT Step

HIIT Step is a innovative 30 minute HIIT exercise class using only bodyweight and a step. Using the principles of High Intensity Interval, Training, this class is choreographed to bespoke soundtracks created by some of the UK’s top House DJs, HIIT Step is a high energy class that pushes you to new limits.

Body Combat

The Les Mills Combat is the ultimate in-home body combat workout. It offers mixed martial arts cardio in an entertaining and invigorating way. You will learn to punch, kick, swing, strike and block with the best of them.

Kettlebell Work Out

Full body high impact cardiovascular workout using kettlebells 

 

Bootcamp

Full body weight and cardiovascular work out

Metafit

 

A high intensity full body workout interval-based class using body weight only.

HIIT

High intensity interval training working the full body

Cardio abs

 

Cardiovascular workout with a main focus on the abdominal area

Tabata

Tabata training works in 20 second intervals of high intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds rest and repeated 8 times for a total of 4 minutes. This is a full body work out which can include weights.

Legs and glutes HIIT

A high intensity lower body workout focusing mainly on the legs and glutes. exercises will be performed against an interval timer and will be mainly body weight. 

Upper body and core HIIT

A high intensity class circuit based focusing mainly on the upper body and core. Exercises will be performed against an interval timer. weights may be used for some exercises.

Tai Chi

Tai chi combines good posture with gentle, slow, controlled, relaxed movements to strengthen the body ,improve general health and provide a sense of wellbeing.

Fitsteps

A dance fitness class that’s fun and suitable for all ages and abilities. Learn how to Jive, Quick-Step, Samba, Tango and Waltz. No need for a partner!

Low mobility

Low level exercise to increase mobility that can be done at home without equipment.

Aquafit

Cardiovascular driven, weight-bearing exercises with rest intervals for 40 minutes & yoga for 20 minutes.

Pilates

Pilates concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Like Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.

Tonezone

A full body workout using body weight exercises suitable for all abilities. Increase your fitness levels and tone up at the same time.

Weight Management/Strength and Mobility

A gentle 45 minute exercise class for those with joint or mobility problems. A chair and some baked bean tins may be needed. Weekly weigh-in to manage your weight and keep on track.

Zumba

Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

Clubbercise

Clubbercise is a fun full body workout with a banging soundtrack that gets great results. One session burns around 600 calories. The routines combine dance, toning and combat moves with options to suit all fitness levels. Classes are held in a darkened room with disco lights and our trademark LED glow sticks. 

Spin Circuit

Spin circuit is combined strength and cardio it combines high intensity cardio with a contrasting high volume strength workout, giving you a full body workout. 

 

Yogalates

A Yogalates class may include stretching and intense core and abdominal strength work. Yogalates may also feature breathing exercises, guided mindfulness and relaxation, depending on the teacher and style.  

Legs Bums and Tums

Legs bums and tums is a body weight and free weight work out with a main focus on the leg, glutes and core  

Body Combat

Body Combat is a whole-body workout, which is where you use both your upper and lower limbs for the workout, giving a more balanced effect and helping you achieve defined muscles and a well-toned body.

The online classes are really good! I do Yoga with Elli and Pilates with Suzanne - it’s really helping me stay focused and pushes me when I need it. -

I went to Angela’s spin class on Tuesday, first one since lockdown. The bikes were more than 2 metres apart and I had no qualms about safety. It was a great class and reminded me why I just love spin

I have been a member of Rossendale Leisure Trust for over 10 years because it provides an excellent mix of classes and gym facilities, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Just as important as this, is that it provides excellent value for money. I have made loads of friends via the classes which has been a bonus I have never achieved from other leisure and gym facilities. I thoroughly enjoy spending time at both marl pits and the adrenaline centre which are the closest facilities to home.
