You may have noticed a few parking spaces out of action at Marl Pits Leisure Centre
Don’t worry – it’s all for a very good reason!
We’re excited to share that Rossendale Borough Council secured Salix carbon reduction funding to replace the boilers at Marl Pits Leisure Centre with air source heat pumps – a major investment in the future of the facility.
Work is now underway and will continue through to early winter. While you won’t notice a big difference day to day, these behind-the-scenes improvements are essential in helping us keep the centre running efficiently for years to come.
There may be some minor disruption while the work takes place, including a small number of parking spaces being unavailable, and we’d like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we carry out these important upgrades.
