Our Story
Rossendale Leisure Trust is the largest not-for-profit charitable trust in the Rossendale Valley. We reinvest all of our profits back into our local community and our facilities. We provide the community with various fitness, adventure and cultural facilities across the valley.
It All Started…
Our fitness facilities include two swimming sites in Rawtenstall and Whitworth; gyms in Haslingden, Rawtenstall, Bacup and Whitworth as well as fitness classes and personal training facilities. We also run leisure facilities including Grip & Go and Laser Tag at our Adrenaline Centre and The Hill for Skiing and Snowboarding! We are passionate about keeping our local community healthy and happy!
As well as providing fitness and cultural facilities across the valley we also offer outreach programmes and referral schemes. Our health referral schemes provide support to people with medical conditions to help them stay active and ensure they can confidently engage in physical activity.
Our Cultural and hospitality facilities include The Whitaker Museum in Rawtenstall, and The Ashcroft in Whitworth. Both facilities provide the community with events to suit everyone, from baby and toddler classes at The Ashcroft, to family fun days and History seminars at the Whittaker Museum.
