Rossendale Leisure Trust – Who are we?
Rossendale Leisure Trust is the largest not-for-profit charitable trust in the Rossendale valley. As a charitable trust, we work to benefit our community. We have no financial shareholders; therefore, we can reinvest all profits back into the services and facilities that we provide.
This allows us to continually improve leisure & culture offerings for local people, as well as contribute to providing wider services to support all aspects of wellbeing and community projects.

We provide fitness facilities across the Rossendale Valley, with the aim to cater for all members of our community; from gyms and pools, pitches, courts to adventure activities and sports.

We run referral schemes to support people with medical conditions to confidently engage in physical activity.

We deliver thousands of hours of swimming lessons, helping children and adults build on their water confidence through group, individual and school programmes.

Our Museum & Event venues offer facilities for community projects, educational programmes, hospitality and culture. From weddings and parties, to art exhibitions and creative workshops.

We provide over 4000 hours of school coaching each year and run over 120 competitions to support the children and schools in the Rossendale Valley.

We run events, workshops and outreach programmes around our community, as well as support local organisations and communities in collaborative projects.
